t was already late when we set out for the next town, fifteen miles away on the other side of the hills. It got dark soon; we drove fast along the narrow winding road that led to the hills. Wecouldn'tidentify any sign of the town marked on the map. Suddenly the car stopped. We had run out of petrol. Therefore, although we had little food with us, we decided to spend the night in the car.

在我们动身前往下一个镇的时候已经很晚了，那个镇在山的另一边离我们十五英里远。天黑得很快;我们沿着狭窄曲折的道路往山上的方向把车开得飞快。我们在地图上找不到去那个镇的任何标志。汽车突然停了下来。我们的汽油用完了。所以，虽然我们只有一点点食物，我们还是决定在车里过夜。

Our meal finished very soon. I went to sleep at once. But my companion Bill who was a poor sleeper went for a walk up the hills. From the top of the hill he saw the lights of the town we were looking for. We unloaded all our luggage and pushed the car to the top of the hill at once. Then we went back to the luggage, loaded the car again and set off down the hill. We reached the town less than a quarter, and found a hotel quite easily.

我们的晚餐很快就吃完了。我马上去睡觉。但我的同伴比尔睡眠质量不太好所以他就到山上去散步。从山顶上他看到我们正在寻找的镇的灯光。我们马上卸下我们所有的行李，把车推到山顶。然后我们回去拿行李，把它装到车上之后就下山了。不到一刻钟我们就到达镇了，并且很快就找到一个酒店。

Xiamen to play down 厦门游玩记

After new year's Eve, the whole family to Xiamen. In Xiamen, we played Hulishan fortress, tzengtsu, Zhongshan Road, Silver Beach and Gulangyu Islet.

过完除夕，我们全家就向着厦门进发。在厦门，我们玩了胡里山炮台，曾厝垵、中山路、银滩和鼓浪屿。

Which I think is the most beautiful place is the Gulangyu Islet. On the island every wall and the yard all kinds of beautiful flowers flowers are blossoming open; tall banyan tree has two or three hundred years of history, flourish.

其中我认为最漂亮的地方就属鼓浪屿。岛上家家的围墙上和院子里都种上了美丽的鲜花，花儿正朵朵开;高大的榕树都有二、三百年的历史，枝繁叶茂。

I think the most interesting place is the silver beach, my sister and I in the beach sand pit, sand is still found two in the conch, crabs, playing for a while, we put them back home. Play tired, we will take a rest in the tent, eating things.

我认为最好玩的地方是银滩，我和姐姐在海滩上挖沙坑，还在沙子里找到了两只在海螺里的寄居蟹，玩了一会儿，我们把它们送回了家。玩累了，我们就在小姨搭的帐篷里休息、吃东西。

When it comes to eating, I like the green mango in Xiamen. Although the outside and looked at the green, but inside it is yellow, eat one, ah! Sweet and sour, really thirst!

说到吃，我最喜欢厦门的青芒果。虽然外面看着绿绿的，但是它的里面却是黄黄的，吃上一口，啊!酸酸甜甜，真解渴!

Xiamen is a really fun place ah, I also want to do.

厦门真是个好玩的地方呀，我还想要来呢。
