如果要表达更远离市中心的郊区，可以使用 outer suburbs 或 outskirts 这样的表达方式。例如：
He lives in the outer suburbs of the city.
（他住在城市的远郊。）
The new shopping mall is located on the outskirts of town.
（这个新的购物中心位于城镇的边缘地带。）
