要注意原句是We had a letter from Jill yesterday.
had在这里是一个收到、得到”的意思，我们昨天收到了Jill的信。
如果是“拥有”的话，”我们昨天拥有了Jill的一封信“就不对了。
I had a letter from my brother this morning.
我今天早晨收到了弟弟的一封信。

have got和have可以互换的情况：
1.  有；持有；占有
He had a new car and a boat. 他有一辆新车和一条船。
Have you got a job yet? 你有工作了吗？

2. 由…组成
In 1999 the party had 10 000 members.

3. 显示出，带有（性质、特征）
