much as 和 much though 其实是把much提到了as 和though的前面 构成的倒装结构。
比如Though he is clever= clever as/though he is
Though he is a boy = boy as/though he is
Though he can eat much = much as/ though he can eat
两个结构意思一样，可以互换。
much as：虽然,尽管（表让步）；
Much as we have achieved in the protection of the environment, we still have a long way to go.
Though much 后加of才是正确的；
Though much of the protection of the environment that we have achieved in, we still have long way to go.
